The guidelines below are set to create a stable and safe container that holds the transformative power for our work together. This work requires a level of dedication and commitment from you, the Client. At times, fear and resistance will arise; our shared goal is to learn to meet and transcend these challenges together.
The services provided by Kjartan Rumpsfeld ("Coach") constitute somatic coaching, guidance, and education for the purposes of personal and professional development. To facilitate this work, the Coach is trauma-informed and utilizes various frameworks, holding certifications in K.I. (Kiloby Inquiries), a somatic inquiry tool, and having previously held certification as a Master Practitioner in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP). These modalities are used solely within a coaching context for self-development and nervous system regulation.
The foundation of this work is rooted in a long-term, dedicated spiritual practice, including four years serving as a monk in a monastery where Kjartan held a title as a licensed minister. Currently, all coaching services are offered under a separate, present-day ministerial ordination through U.S. law. As such, the coaching relationship is considered a form of ministering, focused on your spiritual, emotional, personal and professional growth.
This work is not therapy, psychotherapy, or any form of licensed mental health treatment. The Coach is not a licensed medical doctor, psychologist, or therapist. The services provided do not diagnose, treat, prevent, or cure any mental or physical illness, disease, or condition. If you have, or suspect you may have, a diagnosable mental or physical health condition, it is your sole responsibility to seek and continue care from a licensed professional.
You, the Client, are fully and solely responsible for your own well-being, decisions, and actions during and after our work together. The Coach makes no guarantees regarding the results of the services, as your outcomes are dependent on your personal commitment, readiness, and effort. Any testimonials shared are examples of what is possible, not a promise of a specific result.
Confidentiality: All communications between us are held in strict confidence, except where disclosure is required by law.
Recordings & AI Tools: Sessions may be recorded for your personal benefit. AI-powered tools may be used to generate summaries and maps to support your integration. These are stored confidentially in your private Google Drive folder and originals can be deleted upon request.
Anonymized Content: The Coach may derive anonymized and generalized insights or concepts from sessions for the purpose of creating educational content (e.g., social media posts). All derived content will be made completely anonymous so that you cannot be identified.
Investment: All packages are to be paid in full before our work begins, unless a different written agreement has been made. Payment of the invoice constitutes full acceptance of these Terms.
Scheduling: Sessions are scheduled by mutual agreement with a recommended frequency of weekly or bi-weekly. All appointments are confirmed via a calendar invitation.
Rescheduling: To honor the time set aside, any request to reschedule a session must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Requests made with less than 24 hours' notice cannot be accommodated, and the session will be considered complete, except in the case of a documented emergency.
Package Completion: To ensure the integrity and momentum of the container, packages must be completed within a set timeframe.
The 6-month "Foundational Transformation Intensive" must be completed within 8 months of the first payment.
The 12-month "Embodied Mastery Program" must be completed within 15 months of the first payment.
Sessions not used within these timeframes will expire.
Refunds & Gifting: Once our work has begun, payments are non-refundable. However, you may "pay it forward" and gift your remaining sessions to someone you feel would benefit, pending the Coach's approval. The gifted sessions must be completed within the original timeframe of your package.
By engaging in coaching services with Kjartan Rumpsfeld, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms and disclaimers outlined above.
